I'm friends with him on a fantasy sports forum and he said it was because he referred to some soccer teams in the Euros as africa-belgium or africa-france because apparently many of the players were either born in various African countries or were first generation in the host country and he thought it was stupid watching the euros seeing a big portion of the players be non european. Also stated people would be saying the same thing or worse if in the african cup or whatever its called if a bunch of europeans were playing for the congo or nigeria. Anyway he told me to check out the thread called vaguely racist in covers help forum which is where a poster called ganda started some crusade to get him banned because he was offended and another poster and he rooted and cheered for him to get banned. It looks like ganda has posted like half the complaints in there and isn't shown as a covers employee so I guess you would just call that sad, wow.
Covers seems like a good forum not much traffic though but I'll check it out

Kinda tired of people putting themselves in harms way and then whining about the outcome (or having other whine for the deceased). Its rarely a wrong place & time deal.

As was pointed out in previous posts. Cops showed up because they got a call about Sterling brandishing a gun. He had numerous arrests, including statutory rape, so this brother ain't feeling no sympathy. The gun he had in his possession was illegal. And finally, a gun in your pocket does not mean you can't fire that gun.The cops didn't know Sterling's intentions when they approached him. Only Sterling himself knew what his intentions were. He was the one that chose to resists arrest, even after being tased. And finally, last week there was a similar situation in New Orleans where a cop was struggling with a criminal, who initially had the gun in his waistband but was able to get it out during the struggle, and killed the cop. With this situation being in Baton Rouge, the cop that was killed in New Orleans would have been fresh on their mind. These cops will get to go home to their families.

I have a question for you.. How did they know he was a felon without running his info? When did he ever pull out his weapon? The video shows that a cop pulled it out of the pocket of the victim.
In Louisiana you can walk around with a gun with NO license. It's called open carry. Now the law states that you can't be a felon but again how did they know he was a felon.. They have said he never showed any proof of ID.. So without showing proof there was no way to verify his criminal history..
Another question.. So being a felon is a thug now? That's BS man.. The only criminal history that I don't agree with is him being registered as an offender.. Would you consider Martha Stewart a thug ? She is a felon..

If he would of pulled it out and aimed it at officers then yes they had the right to kill him. But for a gun to remain in its place and never leave is not a reason to be killed .. If you are scared to be an officer the don't sign up to be one. PERIOD
The officers were in harm’s way as soon as they arrived on scene. The officers were told by dispatch of a man brandishing a weapon and acting aggressively. Protocol states the officers have the authority to respond with equal aggression. You make it seem like the officers showed up and took him to the ground. You are wrong. The officer followed the Use of Force Continuum.
The officers gave verbal commands. Sterling ignored them all. That’s why he was tased twice. He was a bloods gang member. That’s a thug. Not only that, Sterling was wearing the costume of a gangbanger thug too. You act and look like a thug. Expect people to treat you like a freaking thug!
That’s ridiculous. Reaching for a gun and pulling a gun - are exactly the same! Both imply the intent on potentially using the weapon. The fact is, once you let somebody point a gun at you, or shoot at you - then it’s often too late. Police officers do not, and should not, and are under no obligation - to have to wait until after somebody has attempted to murder them before they can act.
Police officers have a right, and a duty, to stop the attempted murder before it is completed. Had officers waited until Sterling had a gun pointed at them, then there would have been no way for them to stop him from shooting. If you walk around afraid of police, don’t put yourself in a situation to be approached by police. Period!
