Yes, I buy a lot from Amazon. But, i don't have to deal with the morons at best buy, I don't have to waste gas driving to best buy and I don't have to take the chance of my car getting hit while going to best buy or getting robbed.
Love Amazon.

Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN), the world’s largest Internet retailer, missed analysts’ fourth-quarter revenue estimates and reported a 57 percent decline in profit, dragged down by shipping costs and the money-losing Kindle Fire.
Net income fell to $177 million, or 38 cents a share, from $416 million, or 91 cents, a year earlier, the Seattle-based company said today in a statement. Analysts had projected 16 cents, according to a Bloomberg survey. Sales rose 35 percent to $17.4 billion, compared with an estimate of $18.3 billion.

I say it in a lot of threads about online shopping, but it must be said....
If you have no intention of purchasing in store, please do not pick the brain of a salesman that is on commission. I used to work at a store where the salesguys made $2.25 an hour plus commission on retail products.
People would come in, listen to the guy explain the features of every product, then when the salesguy tries to close the sale, customer says "oh okay thanks, but I'm going to buy it online for cheaper".
Please be considerate of other people's time.
On a side note, I don't shop anywhere except Wal Mart and online. Simply can't afford or rationally allow myself to pay more for the same product that can be had cheaper.
A fix to this is that I believe states will be collecting taxes on Amazon purchases in the near future, as in a year or two.
If you're spending $1000, you're already saving 50 bucks by buying online as opposed to a big box store even if it's the same price.
