I am an insurance consultant to catastrophic losses. I have seen unbelievable devestation. This is exactly how how it happened. I know, I just got back from 3 weeks down there. I also spent 8 months in New Orleans, and these subtitles are spot on. America would be a hell of alot better if it handled itself more like the people of Nashville.

Hell yea we&#x27;re proud of the way we handled it, vegasveteran&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;and we didnt get help from the national govt like New Orleans had to have&#xD;&#xA;we didnt have the crimespree either, and people helped people, didnt rob them like you also hear about in other places in times of disaster&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;vegasvet............    trophy

Boy it kind of hurt seeing the Grand &#x27;Ol Opry underwater! &#xD;&#xA;I didn&#x27;t even hear about this until a friend of mine brought it up, it didn&#x27;t get any news coverage which was shocking.  &#xD;&#xA;Saw Kenny Chesney here in Vegas couple weeks ago, put on a great show too, he didn&#x27;t even mention this.

Apropos of nothing: I had a bread route in Nashville when I was 17 years old.

I have shirt-tail relatives in Nashville. Their subdivision flooded but their house was on a little rise and did not flood. Their neighbors shared their house while they cleaned out their own. Most of my relatives are in Tennessee, east of Chattanooga.
