That last one shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone.

I think Alaska has the highest suicide rate by far also.

Strange.

I think because it stays dark for so long up there, they're depressed by nature.

Can't believe that Camden or Newark didn't make the top 5.  They must be highly disappointed.

Cmon downtown Camden is beautiful.

Thought LA & Nyc would be in the top 5 but they must be in the top 10.

I blame Lubbock's high #6 on that douche Adam James for getting coach Mike Leach fired.  

And that photo of Detroit is just depressing. Reminds me of scenes of war torn Iraq when I was there in '06. And yet our govt pours in billions of dollars in foreign aid.

NYC is no where near dangerous as it was before Guiliani.  I assume you haven't been recently.

I honestly just don't get how Oakland isn't on here either. It doesn't have a huge population comparitively speaking and it sure as shit seems violent to me.

I have to admit I visit Detroit about once a year(I have family and friends there) and last year when my mom picked me up at the airport we got lost on the way home after taking a wrong exit off the freeway. For the first time in all my years in Detroit I was a bit afraid of the neighborhood we were in(it was around midnight).
