Drinks while you waited???
They DEFINITELY stopped doing that...
Perhaps they did that during the first month or two of opening. Not anymore.
Still, they blow away all other casinos in AC. It's not even a contest when it comes to the Borgata.

Don't forget the $256 million dollar tax subsidy along with that.

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) - A time few could imagine during the glory days of casino gambling has arrived in Atlantic City, where two casinos and more than 5,000 jobs will be lost this weekend.
The Showboat is closing Sunday, followed by Revel's two-day closure Monday and Tuesday.
Trump Plaza is next, closing Sept. 16. To the thousands of workers who will be left behind, it still seems unreal.
Showboat bartender Chris Ireland says casino workers never thought this could happen.
Atlantic City began the year with 12 casinos, but before summer's end, it will have eight.
The contraction is due to ever-increasing competition in neighboring states.
Many analysts and casino executives say Atlantic City will do better with fewer casinos. Some have already improved their financial position since the Atlantic Club closed in January.

Yup, those are the pics goose. I'll bet I've been there more than anyone on Covers. I'd be in the top 3 at least.
Nothing to see there.
Borgata or nothing.
Who would want to go on that beach anyhow (i.e., the DO_AC campaign hype of the boardwalk)?
It's a real shame.
As you said moxie, it's the Borgata or nothing...

Borgata has done right no doubt.remember telling my buddy while we were checking it when they first opened, ahh give it a couple years and it will turn into like the rest of AC..Boy was I wrong..The B 's class act (imo) actually forced Harrah's to upgrade a few notches and that was nice to see as they were heading the same route as Trump Marina..Now the Marina district is all pretty decent with the Golden Nugget renovating the Trump casino.
Best thing about the marina district is you need a car to get to..keeps a lot of trash at the beach...
And BTW the B is the only casino now with a racebook as Harrah's closed theirs..Any Soprano fans will remember the AC racebook scene filmed there..
