My son was born last night ....my wife only had to push for 20 minutes.
9 lbs, 10 ounces! Big kid! My first son was only 7 lbs, 8 ounces. Both him and the wife are healthy as can be. I was scared because his shoulder blade got caught and he was not coming out past his head. This lasted for about 20 seconds but felt like forever. Even the doc looked concerned and he actually got on top of my wife's stomach and did all kinds of crazy shit to get him out. I was pacing like crazy.
I'm home now caring for our other son. He's looking around the house wondering where Mom is. I asked him what he wanted for breakfast and he went into the pantry and came out with a Snickers bar. When I told him "no", he acted like he was blown away. Yeah right. Waffles and cartoons it is.
Man, I don't think i thank the big man upstairs enough or even think about how good life is enough.
