If people believed the pandemic, people will always be sheep. Nfl is the best sport to watch, so no it will not loose interest, the only interest it ever lost is when it went woke and the people that don’t watch it because of that don’t bet on it , they were real fans but that is the past and like always people can only remember the last game. This will blow over just like every other time. This last weekend is nothin g compared to the past. Just wait till this weekend. I don’t think they can beat Seattle vs patriots when Wilson threw for an interception on the 2 yard line on 2 and 1 instead of feeding it to lynch, or when the lights went out in the Super Bowl when it was ablow out or when falcons lost to Brady up 27 at half times, all recent Super Bowls. Or my favorite when they gave manning and the broncos the super bowl for a going away present against the all dominating panthers. But eventual the public does win so bet accordingly… and no i wont watch a game unless i have money on it. And even then I don’t watch them all even if i have money on them.

Was just talking to my buddies about this tonight. I was like: "did we watch a manufactured outcome on Sunday night?"
None of us wanted to say that the sport we grew up playing, and loving, may at the highest level, have other interests in play other then "whose the best team".
We all agreed that we thought something was very odd about the game. (THAT DOESN'T MEAN WE'RE RIGHT, or thought it was rigged or whatever- for everyone whose gonna turn this discussion into the "conspiracy guy talk" or whatever they always do). We all just felt like something wasn't right about the flow of the second half.
Where there's smoke, there's fire. If your guts telling you something, listen. What happened, who knows - but the NFL (IMO) is not about the best team winning anymore.
In my opinion, the way they do it is - let the game play out, if the outcome they want comes into jeopardy, they attempt to finesse it back to the outcome they want (miss penalties, call penalties, etc.) It won't get them the outcome they want every time, but maybe it gets them, the outcome they're looking for 10, 15... 50 percent more of the time.
We'll never really know. But the Seri A football league fixing scandal is a good place to start if you're interested in this. The entire league table was manufactured- yup, they did it with refs calling penalty kicks to get the outcomes they wanted. Google: Calciopoli.

Imo such behavior decreases ones theoretical edge, probability of winning consistently. I acknowledge,and respect, everybody's opinion,outlook as such. All that matters is mine. And this left a distinctively bad taste. Perhaps will fade over time. No there was no pandemic it was made up and they scared you into believing that the government was taking away your rights to protect you ( same playbook as the PATRIOT act after 9/11) from the big bad plandemic. The best way to prevent covid is and always has been to turn off your TV. Do you know how many Amish people died from Covid?
