my office won a contest one time and the whole office got to go have lunch in a luxury suite at Gillette Stadium and we all got to meet Tedy Bruschi (we were doing a cross promotion with the Patriots). He was a class act, went around to every table, sat down, signed all our stuf,f took pictures with us it was awesome. I still have a football and picture signed by him as well as a photo with him because the patriots had a professional photographer there that took candids and portraits with us with Bruschi and just to put it in prospective this was in 07 a month after they had blown their perfect season and lost the Super Bowl

On a side note, we also did a cross promotion with the Red Sox that year, after they WON the World Series, and we got to meet Papelbon and he was the biggest dick. Showed up like an hour late (it was only like a two hour lunch thing) and refused to go around. He just entered with a big puss on his face, sat up front near where he came in, refused to take pictures or talk to anyone, and said he would only sign one thing each and some guy had a picture and baseball card for his son and Papelbon refused to sign the card because he said, "didn't you hear me one thing per person" The prior year it had been David Ortiz and he was like Bruschi. He was gracious, joking around with fans and so forth. Its funny some athletes forget where they came from and the happiness they can bring into people's lives and how blessed they really are. If it wasnt for the fans Papelbon wouldnt be where he was.
