anyone watching the president speak?

unemployment is nearly 9%.  obama should impose taxes on corporations who source their jobs offshore. keep the jobs in the states.

That would be a bad move.  Many of the jobs that go Offshore are done more effectively and cheaper in India, Philippines, Mexico, etc, than they can be sourced in North America (Canada and USA).  People in North America would rather collect UI than work at some of these jobs that they deem to be undesirable. 

You force these jobs back Onshore and productivity goes down and prices go up......which is ultimately borne by the consumer.  In addition many companies would go belly up if they couldn't source jobs offshore which would obviously take jobs out of the North American economy. 

People who think that Offshoring is bad for our Onshore economies don't really understand global economics.

 There should be a heavy tax if they send their work out of the country.  They don't hold the cost of their products for the consumers. Just more bullshit profit taking.
