This is probably a dumb question, lmao. Quick background as to why I ask. I just got back into gambling after taking a few years off. I used to go through BetUs and didnt really like the hassle of it all and also couldnt afford to gamble. I'm now in a much better financial position and decided to get back in it. Through someone at work, I met a bookie (or middle man for lack of a better term) that Ive been dealing with for the past two months. At first, it was +$50 here, -$80 there...just small stuff back in forth. All my wagers are $100. Then, i got hit for about $500 which he obviously, gladly took. The following week I hit him for about $1400! When I met him at the bar for my money, he had this look like he just ate some bad box (he "allegedly" makes bets also and seems to lose every week!). He pays me and I hang out for a drink and ordered him one too. He was real quiet when he usually is talkative (especially when collecting) and didnt even aknowledge me buying him a drink. I am a tipper (restaurants, bars, barbers, cabbies, bell boys, etc.) and was just wondering. I'm new when it comes to dealing with locals and just want to make sure I'm doing it right. Thanks for any input fellas!
