Best 80's Bands

Just bought the best of New Order. Yeah not the most masculine band, but they put out some great tunes.  What's your fav bands to come out of the 80's?  I grew up in this era and everytime i listen to this music i get nostaglic.  The Cure is one of my all time favs...

2 Live Crew was the best Band of the 80's

I was hitting the clubs so New Order was always jamming.  Blue Monday is legit.

The Cure "All Mixed Up" is the best cd ever created.

The Smiths / Joy Division / Bauhaus / Echo and the Bunnymen / The Pixies / The Stone Roses / Cocteau Twins / OMD / Ministry / Front 242 / Skinny Puppy / Nitzer Ebb / U2 / REM - just to name a few of some of the best bands of the 80's.  I could list a ton of great bands.

( All I listened to then and now is pretty much modern rock / alternative stuff  - I have a huge penchant for 80's modern rock/new wave stuff, etc. )

We listen to the same stuff, also Concrete Blonde late 80's early 90's was a very under rated band
