Best place in the U.S. for pizza, Chicago or New York?

Tough to say that one city has better pizza than another, as it is about personal preference.

Although, as Getty pointed out, it's rare to find good pizza down south due to the water used while making the dough.

I'm born and raised in NY, so I am partial to the pizza here.
My favorite is sicilian pizza, corner piece. 
IMO, the best sicilian comes from Sal's Pizza in Mamaroneck, NY.
At lunch time, the line goes out the door and down the street, many there for the sicilian pizza.

Damenzo's Pizza in Chicago is the best pizza I've ever had... and 1 slice can almost feed a family of 4!!

Another place in the Bay Area, Amici's, is really good. Thin crunchy crust, mucho tiny pepperonis..............fabulous!

I forget the name of the place but one of the best pizzas I've ever had was both light and thin like NY style but unlike NY style when you picked it up it was solid enough could hold it self up horizontally...

Fresh toppings and local to the area. 

It was A place close to the water on I think the third town of cinque terre

Well, there's a reason why so many of us are fat.  Too many phucking fat people here stuff their faces with junk food even though they know the health consequences.  

It kills me that I can't eat like I used to.

just went out and got me a large, loaded..unfortunately I'm not in NYC or Chicago, Pizza in LV has no merit other than the fact that "it's edible" the water definately plays a roll
