Your face, one of the most famous in the history of entertainment, now means one thing: serial rapist (amazingly).
You worry about the dozens of other women you've likely done this to coming forward
Your shows are pulled from the air
Your wife sobs in the middle of the night and you know why
Your credibility as a representative of your community, that is, your ability to lead and influence, all gone (and this may kill the most)
All the advertisers flee
The royalty checks end
The calls for appearances end
You live the last few years of your life alone
You go for a walk, or you go to the supermarket and you, a man who every person on the planet wanted a picture or autograph from, now has every person, save a small handful, shifting their eyes from you and speeding up their walk
Your university scrubs your name from everywhere it is plastered
All your TV specials and reruns that have ran somewhere every single night you've been alive: gone
Your shame intensifies daily as does your anxiety and chest pain
Even doctors treat you different
You are a 77 year old man who's likely lived a rock star's lifestyle for most of it
There is no way the mind, heart and body can take this much longer
Paterno? What was it? A couple months? He was 86.
77 is better but not by much. A couple years at most.
I give him until 80 tops. The mind, now in complete disarray, will disrupt the body. He won't be able to live like this.
It's just an observation but it's going to kill him.
At some point, the media will have to know collectively that they are handing this man a death sentence date.
