Okay, so anybody that read my other post about getting orange circled last week, here's the to be continued part two edition of my endless soap opera with Bovada.
I had 2100 left over in my account after Championship Monday. As many read in my first post, yes I am a frequenter of Bookmaker, but cannot deposit while I'm out here at work with them so it's either 5Dimes or Bovada.
I've had issues with 5Dimes and it goes way beyond Tony. I just don't trust them, and despite the bad lines from Bovada, I feel they treat you pretty good over there. Very good customer service.
I put two 500 4 team parlays out on Tuesday night consisting of Butler and Tulsa (both parlays) and then a mixture of Kentucky, PSU, Miss St and VCU. Both plays hit. 12,000 in my account. As of last night I am at 14,000 in the account.
Today I get a message that my account had been disabled. I called Bovada customer service and they explained that this was due to the VPN being out of state and that my identity needed to be verified. You see I work in Ohio. I live in western PA. The company I work for has a satellite dish we use to access the internet which connects through Alaska and pings to us. (This is what happens when you work in the middle of nowhere.)
The most disturbing part of this phone call was when I was told, "we will make note that you will be working in Ohio for two weeks, and then will be back home in PA for two weeks, but I cannot guarantee that your account won't be disabled again. And it could happen permanently."
This news come to me after five of my bets last night were altered. And how were they altered? I'll show you......
I bet 2200 on Washington -7.
The bookmaker reviewed the bet and then sent me a compromisebet that I had 30 seconds to accept or reject. It was to take Washington at -8.5 (-115) juice. For the same amount of 2200.
The day before I wanted Creighton at -5 in 2nd half for 2000.
Compromise bet: Creighton -6 (-115) juice same amount.
Look I like Bovada's customer service. Up until now, the orange circled games, the compromise bets, and the account being temporarily disabled, I'm really just at a lost for words.
I don't want to bad mouth an account I've been using for years, but in the same sense, what is going here? Where has the integrity gone? Will I even see this money? It's been three days already since I put my initial payout request in and it's still "Pending."
