MLB going through a lockout could be totally pointless as they are clearly not thinking about a massive economical collapse in coming months.
NHL CBA looks horrible for owners for 2022-23.
NFL thinks they are untouchable but you can forget about the same revenue for sure when it hits.
Could this be the collapse of North American pro sports as we know it? I think it will be a disaster for sure but I am at this point leaning towards massive collapse of the infrastructure support that would eventually change the public sector part of revenue.
Will be great for the fans.
However it will take 2-3 yrs and thats after lockouts, strikes, and delays to season starts. Possible retraction. Broadcasting changes. Much more.

Watch the crowds at the college conference championships & March Madness. Then watch the crowds at golf tournaments.
Sporting events are a major piece of our culture.
Having said that, baseball has priced out many fans that can't afford games wanting just a hotdog and soda for their kids to watch players that can't bunt or run out a ground ball.
Now, stay off my lawn!
