Chicago pizza or NY pizza

Ok what kind of pizza do you guys prefer chicago style pizza or new york style pizza? I like chicago the veggies and cheese is great. NY style taste like cheese on a cardboard.

I will even include the odd ball of them all Detroit style pizza for those who are a little different and it is not served as often unless u like little caesars who i dont recommend. Try some other Detroit style pizza.

i'm a fan of NY regular thin and crispy Well Done Not Burnt. I also enjoy Chicago deep dish but nothin beats a NY thin and crispy.

there's a show on Viceland called 'That Pizza Show'. guarantee you make it through a whole show without the crave

New York style. Chi style is good every blue moon but I love a thin, crispy New York slice.

I've often heard that the Chicago deep dish pizza is really just a tourist thing and the locals in fact lean towards that thin crust style pizza.

Though there is a time and place to enjoy both, my preference would be for the NY style.

As a Type 2 diabetic, carbs are way up the list, low carb means thin crust, which I don't mind.....

I play in a band in So. Flo, and the new yorkers all want the Chicago pizza. They don't like the grease and limp part past the crust, the part where the grease runs off and burns your chin on the NY triangle slice.

Canada Chris, is correct in saying about Chicago traditional is the thin crispy style. Geno's East started the Deep Dish in the city for a contrast and variety to the thin n crispy.

Hey Hawk... was recently diagnosed with type 2 Diabetes myself.  Meds keeping it controlled but the Numbness and Prickling in my feet and toes is bothersome.  Hands and fingers feel fine.  Was told not to expect my feet to ever recover.  When nerves are dead, THEY ARE DEAD, they do not "grow back".

What the *bleep*.   I like 'em all, but prefer Deep Dish.   It's a wonder I don't weigh 750 pounds.

There is no such thing as deep dish pizza in Italy. It's an American creation to use up the cheapest ingredient (flour)  while slowly killing the eater with excess carbs,fat, and empty calories. Pan pizza may as well be sold by McDonalds.
