Guess it has to be spelled out for all you punks...
RAWHIDE - ROWDY YATES
Google it if you still don't have a clue.
Are you serious? That was a solid flick.
Outlaw Josey Wales & Pale Rider are his 2 best imo. Both have great stories, great action, great characters and sweet one liners. You cant really find movies today that have all that stuff.
I love in The OJW , when the salesman is trying to sell his elixir and says it will work on anything! Josey spits tobacco on his white suit and asks him how it does with stains!!!

Oulaw of Josey Wales, Pale Rider,The Good, The Bad ad The Ugly, Escape from Alcatraz? I haven't even started in with the Callahan era yet. God they don't make movies like them anymore movies suck major azz today.

I really liked Gran Torino, and thought he should have stepped out on top with that one. But no, he had to go and make a Paul Newman-like appearance in a romantic comedy farce called "Trouble with the Curve."
That said, wow did he make a ton of GREAT movies. My faves have always been The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, Dirty Harry, In the Line of Fire, The Outlaw Josey Wales and High Plains Drifter.
There are a few underrated ones I also enjoy seeing. Thunderbolt & Lightfoot has not a boring scene in it. Very well done. A Perfect World is another one, with more good acting in it than most movies could hope to have. That one has a great performance by Kevin Costner that goes unnoticed. And Heartbreak Ridge has about 30 great lines in it. Eastwood really nailed it with that one.
All told, I can only think of about 4 or 5 bad movies by him. And about 20 great ones. And some others that aren't necessarily great, but have so many good lines and action that you have to watch nearly every time they're on. That's incredible. He's amazing.

and a great line from The Enforcer....
Harry Callahan: May I make a statement, McKay?
McKay: Go ahead!
Callahan: Your mouthwash aint makin' it!
And from The Rookie, another underrated flick....
(On live TV, no less, being interviewed by a news reporter where he's made a bust on an auto theft ring)
"...Now I happen to know of a prick that's responsible for this whole f.ucking operation. And that son of a bit.ch is hurting right now, and I'm f.ucking liking it!"
