I never understood what the Anthem had to do with the police? With his platform he could've/could do it in a more direct manner involving something that relates directly to the police or educating folks about not breaking the law, etc. Anything that makes sense. This 'protest' just left itself open to too much criticism and missed his whole point to many people.
