Curious to see how many total deaths there are for 2020
2018: 2.839 million
2019: 2.855 million
2020: 2.033 million through Sept 24
Where did you get this from? Your 2020 number looks low. CDC reports 200K+ excess deaths from COVID.
I would wager there will be more than 3 mil deaths this year.

Deaths from all causes
2.041 million as of 9/19/20

The CDC had them — I’m not sure if they’re deliberately hiding the numbers or if I just can’t find them... But I remember they had them. They specifically watch things like what percent of the total deaths are pneumonia and flu related because we’re close to the 5.6% “epidemic threshold”. Anyways here’s a link from statista that provides roughly the same numbers.

I'm not going to take your wager because you didn't read the fine print. The 2 million number from your link is starting from Feb 1.
If you do the math, that projects to about 3.2 million deaths this year. I'd have to give 10 to 1 odds to make this a fair bet.
"More than 2 million people in the United States died from all causes between the beginning of February and September 19, 2020."

Top German lawyer known for corruption trials against Deutsche Bank and VW and now a member of German Corona Investigative Committee says those responsible for the Covid fraud scandal should be trialled for probably the greatest crime against humanity in history.

Any excess deaths this year will be due to increases in suicides drug overdoses and canceled cancer screenings/treatments as well as people being terrified to go to hospital for strokes heart attacks etc. All because of restrictions put in for Corona and not from corona itself. 28 million surgeries have been canceled worldwide 38% of those are cancer screening/treatments when/if governments ever start releasing the numbers of deaths cause directly because of mitigation it will make covid deaths look like a drop of water in an endless ocean.

This website seems to be as accurate as any ... https://www.nbcnews.com/health/health-news/coronavirus-deaths-united-states-each-day-2020-n1177936
However, on this one it shows a higher number ..but I'm not sure of their source..https://factba.se/topic/calendar...on the left hand side under dates...

No, not corona related deaths.
All deaths.
The number was 2.8+ million for 2018 and 2019. I want to know how many total deaths we have so far this year.

1 in 10 people worldwide may have been infected with Covid-19, WHO estimates
That would make the death rate... what?
And when you count people that die WITH Covid, instead of FROM Covid...
It’s amazing how manipulated the data is. And it’s even more amazing how easily everyone is manipulated.

The tyrants of World War II Germany had this phrase they liked to use to justify government overreach, intrusion, and abuse; "für ihre Sicherheit" translation; "It's for your safety."
The question is, when are we going to stop falling for it?

Take a look at Sweden yesterday. They have a population of 10 million. They’re down to around 1 corona death per day.
“Hi, this is a short video to show Stockholm today as people around the world should see life is normal here.”
