As an individual challenge I would say it's harder to crawl a Marathon distance than push a piano together with many others.
How I'm looking to raise 1,000,000$? Well, I was kinda hoping for some advice/ideas from the forum users. I'm looking to raise 20$ from 50,000 internet users. I have a website up and running from jan 2015 and also a gofundme account.
"why you think you would raise $1M": It all comes down to a bet some years back. I made a bold statement that if anyone was to give med 1,000,000$, then i would crawl the New York Marathon.
Now the bet has turned into a project. Is it possible??
This has Nigerian 411 scam written all over it.

Going to disagree....walking the Pike's Peak marathon is more difficult than crawling the NYM. You know that whole uphill thing and that other altitude thingy.
That's even before the piano comes into play.

They only went from Glen Cove summit to the peak. It took 2 hours and 29 minutes.
It must be terrible to always be wrong.

I know alot of you have made comments like this will never work, why are we gonna give you money? And so on. The money issue is not something I'm concerned about, I'm more interested and curious about the idea of getting 50,000 internet user to come together for a common cause.
Many of you have given me great advice to make this work, and the major majority keep bringing up charity as a vital part to make this project succeed. Therefor I'm making it a part of the project...I'll donate 500,000$ to a charity if we get to the 1,000,000$
I think this will make it a easier "sell". What are your thoughts about this?

I think it's an excellent idea. I think you should make a youtube video of yourself practicing during rush hour in NYC. You need to make a "trailer" of some sort to sell yourself.

They??? I tell ya esplanasde, if it was one dude pushing the piano for 2,5 hours in that environment...then I would agree with you.
This comment alone shows what trouble you're in. But it doesn't even matter, running the PPM is tougher than what you want to do, hell walking it would be harder. And you'll learn soon enough that when you have "Need to detox" on your side, you've lost.

How could you possibly think crawling the NYC marathon is a bad idea?

That's not a bad idea. I know my friend made a mobile video of my stupid statement of crawling the marathon. We were at the bar, and he wanted to document it. So he made me make the statement on film. Should do something with that. Definitely going on the website.
Thanks Detox
