All series long he has been on his knees licking the balls of the Miami Heat and LeBron. Even after the Mavs amazing comeback in game 2 he gave Dallas absolutely no credit claiming it didn’t matter cause the Heat and LeBron were going dominate. No matter what happened in the previous game he would suck off Miami and completely dismiss anything good Dallas did as being meaningless because the Heat and LeBron were so much better and were going to dominate them.

Then on the first show since the finals ended the only thing he said about the series, the Heat, or LeBron was that everyone was being mean to James and should leave him alone and he didn’t mind some Heat players partying with the Mavs.

That’s it.

No “I was wrong.” No “LeBron/Miami played poorly.” Not even a congratulations to the Mavs or to Dirk.

I am having trouble recalling a time where anyone on ESPN was so adamant about a team winning a series as Coward was about the Heat winning the finals and then completely ignore the fact that the team he practically guaranteed would win, lost.  

Skip Bayless was slobbering the Heat and LeBron’s nuts as well, but at least he had the balls to admit he was wrong going so far as to say “LeBron is 26, looks 36, and acts like a 16 year old.” He also gave props to the Mavs.

That's about the only reason I'll tune into his show in the fall. Other than that, NJD's post is spot on regarding some of the talking heads at ESPN radio - Cowherd, SVP, and FC.  

A couple of years ago he just smoked on his picks, but last year he sucked ass.  Of course you didn't hear anything about that as opposed to a couple of years ago it was his lead in for most weeks.

Whitlock: Finals entertaining, but Mavs are done

. Dude is a FADE MACHINE living off the glory of a good year. Of course with him thats pretty much all you will hear and nothing about that bad. 14 years from now he will be spinning his " Wheel of Genius " reminicing of how great he had it back in 2009 and how great he is.

I like Dan Patrick better than anyone currently on ESPN.

I kinda like the HERD .  He makes my 10-12/1 hour go by quickly b/c he says %hit I'm thinking.

He's just a blow hard "entertainer" who knows as much about sports as you and me.  I still remember when KFAN here in MN broke the story that Favre was going to sign with the Vikings 2 years ago....he mocked and ridiculed and then looked like the douche he is.  Never once said he was wrong.

The only reason he's on ESPN TV-wise is because of Beadle.
