I am in LA for the first time ever. I am looking for advice. where to go, where to eat, where to go out at night?

I am not too worried about seeing stars, but it would be cool if I ran into some.

Any advice would be helpful.. Thank you

I heard a lot of good things about Compton as well. In a city full of assholes Compton gives you that at home feeling.

hollywood park casino? theres a cajun restaurant thats nearby. its in the hood too.

go to rodeo drive and theres a mall at the end of it where its cheaper, i forgot whats it called though... the "GROVE"

original farmers market is nearby too. and if u go online u can go get tickets to see drew carey. lol

What area are you staying at? How much time do you have? What are your interests?

I have lived in LA my whole life.

Compton isn't that bad depending on the specific area. Not much to see. You want ghetto the Watts Towers is where it's at.

I am staying at the crowne plaza in beverly hills, I will be here for 2 days, then going to vegas.

Just want to see some cool stuff, eat some good food, nothing too special.

Watts towers , Jordan downs , Nickerson gardens r just a few places to visit. Compton is Beverly Hills man

This man knows his ghetto. I am always in the area  for work, it's not so bad in the morning but I try to get out by noon when it starts to get sketchy.

.....or drive to Palm Springs. Just head towards the mountains.......if you can see them.
