found winning ticket

i found a winning $160 parlay ticket that pays $1100 in the bathroom at my local casino.  will there be any consequences if i try to cash it in?

if there's a club card number on the bottom of the ticket which identifies the owner of the ticket you can get arrested.

If the owner has tagged the ticket as Lost you may not be able to cash the ticket.Try to cash at the Cashier Cage late after the book has closed and if the clerk asks you to Wait after checking the screen.......Walk away.

ZEBRA YOU ARE DEAD WRONG ! I WORKED IN A CASINO, DURING ORIENTATION WE WERE TOLD THAT ANY SLIPS OR CHIPS FOUND THAT DO NOT BELONG TO YOU, ARE NOT YOURS THAT THEY BELONG TO THE CASINO. SO WHAT IF THE ORIGINAL OWNER OF THE SLIP REPORTS IT STOLEN, THEY CAN GO BACK AT CHECK THE TAPE AND VIEW THE TERMINAL IN WHICH IT WAS PRINTED. YOU JUST TRIED TO CASH STOLEN PROPERTY. 

Big difference between stolen and found. The owner of a bet slip needs to treat it like cash. If you lose it and somebody else finds it, it's no longer yours unless you can prove otherwise. There is no criminal liability for anyone who attempts to cash a lost ticket. You'll simply be told "We have reason to believe this ticket belongs to someone else. If you would like to dispute it, do so now. Otherwise have a good day and enjoy our casino."

A guy at my work left his ticket on the table at work and his manager took it and cashed it at the casino. The employee went to the casino and they pulled the video surveillance and saw it was his boss. He notified the company we work for and got his boss fired.

I found one tonight too. It's a 4 team parlay all MLs. Bet only $25 pays $195. Oklahoma and Clemson football. Alabama and Providence Basketball. I found it before the Alabama and Oklahoma games started. I sat there in the sports book for a good 3 hours after, no one came back to the area looking for a lost ticket.

It only $195 but obviously I'm going to try to cash it. No way I can find the owner and what if owner thought it was a loser or just forgets about it. Who should get the money, the finder or the casino that already makes billions.

Found a ticket on the casino floor here in Delaware last year and kept it. Got called that night before the game played from the casino and told them i had it and they asked me to return it. No problem i did the next day. I am a regular and didnt want to fussy with them. 

They must've ran surveillance and saw me and ran it on my players card to identify me. 

Btw, the ticket lost but they still wanted it, and yes i asked them if they wanted it even if it lost.

I will be honest. I went in this morning and cashed the ticket. No problem, no questions asked. Had someone come back last night asking about a lost ticket, I would have given it to them. I see no reason for it to be added to the millions in unclaimed tickets the casino keeps every year. If I am asked about it later, I will tell them I found it on the floor, noticed it was a winner, so I cashed it. I wasn't going to go through the sportsbook asking everyone did they lose it. If I had a different person who didn't buy it, would have cashed it.
