Katy Perry's halftime show for SB 49(2015) drew higher ratings than the game itself. It is still regarded as the most watched TV event of all time for a 15 minute block of time.

The game was played in Phoenix and will always be known as the "Malcolm Butler picked it off at the goal line" game. Go Pats an_cheers

Patriots have never scored in the first quarter of any of Belichick’s seven Super Bowls.

Super Bowl history will happen Sunday 2/4/2018 when, for the first time ever, one starting QB will have more career playoff wins than the other starting QB has career regular season wins.

You have me between a rock and a hard place. CT is in the middle and is very divided between Boston and NYC fans.  I was a very young Giants fan.  Y.A. Tittle was a unique QB because he was bald and actually threw the ball sidearm.  His favorite wide receiver was Homer Jones who was the original creator of "spiking the ball" in the end zone after scoring a TD.  Always a rebel at heart I loved these guys.  Had to put tin foil on the TV antenna to get a snowy broadcast of the games on our old Black & White TV.

Now, along comes Jets QB Joe Namath who impetuously "Guarantees" a victory in Super Bowl III against the 2 TD favorite Baltimore Colts.  AND THEN GOES OUT AND DOES IT!  Behind Matt Snell's rushing TD  and Jim Turner's 3 FG's Namath had a 16-0 lead that the Jets never relinquished.  Always a rebel at heart I loved these guys too.

Super Bowl Record that still stands today in 2018...
The 1969 Super Bowl III Champion Jets are the ONLY team in Super Bowl history to win the game when only scoring one TD.

The Patriots.  The team everybody Loves to Hate.  Owner Kraft, Coach Belichick, QB Brady are unquestionably the best three Owner, Coach, QB to ever execute and play the game.  Although I'm sure that last statement hit a nerve with Pittsburgh and San Francisco fans I very truly believe it to be the truth.

An estimate of NFL fans countrywide would probably result in an 80% disapproval rating of the Patriots mostly because of Tom Brady.  But I will tell you the story that a lot of people never heard  about Tom Brady.

Tom Brady was the 199th pick in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft.  So disappointed, he thought he had choked, he broke down in tears in front of his entire family.  Two days later he had the opportunity to walk into the owners office to meet Patriot owner Robert Kraft.  Kraft went to shake Brady's hand but Brady beat him to the punch.  Brady grabbed Robert Kraft's hand and said, "Hi.  I'm Tom Brady and I'm going to be the best thing that ever happened to your Patriot's franchise".

Son David Kraft was in the office at the time and after the short 15 minute meeting with Brady David looked at his father and said, "well, that was kind of brash, I think this guy is a little cocky".  To which Robert Kraft replied, "No. No he wasn't.  There was something in his eyes.  I could see it.  It was in his eyes.  There was something that was determined in his mindset.  I believe he's the real deal".  And now you know the rest of the story.  With Tom Brady starting at QB since 2001 the Patriots have never suffered a losing season. 

To finally answer your question Slob, I have been fortunate to witness all three NFL franchises and I really love them all.  With the Patriots in,  that's for whom I'll be rooting.

EVIL EMPIRE, hopefully, IMPLODES today as IGGLES win a WELL-deserved parade down Broad Street....and all from within....Coordinators' departing..The SI story???... PHILLY has better D, trench adv, .. I .smell an outright UPSET ending the GREATEST  run in NFL History....


TOM has been terrific..Just named MVP...UNREAL year...

Super Bowl 52 is in the books with the Eagles defeating the Patriots 41-33.  I had the Patriots ML and the Patriots & Over Teased losing both wagers and $315 on the night.  When the Patriots took the lead 33-32 I thought I was Golden but, alas, the fickle Gambling Gods decided otherwise.  Such is football and such is life.  This was a VERY ENTERTAINING GAME and despite losing my wagers I enjoyed it very much.
