If you have a bookie you trust to pay, and he regularly inflates the favorite in baseball, I would definitely consider this method of betting both sides.
But you would also have to heavily fund your offshore to offset the bets with your bookie. And obviously the more you bet, the more money you would make off the percentage difference.
And eventually the bookie would cut you off, or adjust the lines on you for taking advantage of his generous payback on the underdogs.

As others have pointed out, you should definitely take advantage of situations like this as there is nothing unethical about it.
Not sure if it is still as profitable, but I used to do this all the time with the offshore books a few years back (before the kids came along and before I started to get busier in my career and the cost/benefiit analysis just wasn't the same anymore). If you played the game right 4-5 years ago, and opened your mind to different arb opportunities, $10-$15K a year of risk free income (mostly during NFL/NCAA FB season) was pretty easy.

LOL. Not sure, but there were 3 more bets I was able to make last night:
1) Chris Bosh rebounds-over 5.5 for +120 on one site, under -110 on another
2) Sea/LAA first 5 innings total- over 3.5 for +115 on one, under -110 on another
3) George Hill 3 pointers- over 1.5 for -130 on one, and under 1.5 for +145 on another
I was able to hit on both basketball player props, however my guys only give me a max of $1000 bets on props, so I only profited $250, but still FREE money with no risk. The best part about this is that I'm running on credit! I have $15,000 lines of credit with each of my 3 guys, and we meet each week to settle up, unlike the offshore accounts(which I have a few too), which are a pain in the behind to cash out and take up to a month sometimes to get the cash....I'm sure the gravy train will end soon, but I'm riding it til it does...

You're giving both sites business, which is what they want. There should be no issues with that.
Especially like one of the posters said. You're really helping balance out the bets for both sites, since there's probably steam on the opposing teams.
