It certainly looks like a response to me and it is certainly just as good as any response that you have submitted.
You start this thread using a feeble philosophical statement attempting to equate gambling with stealing. Then because you are so enlightened you start acting with a haughtiness since in your mind you are so much better then everyone here ("that ocean is too deep for this submarine (covers forum) to explore").
Your lofty sense of self importance and your desire to shame those here who you deem incapable of understanding your enlightened knowledge reveals nothing but your wanton hubris. It is pathetic and just so happens to be most gravest of the seven deadly sins.

No that is quite often difficult but if you are not saying anything what is it they are supposed to hear?
The gist (although in one it was simply stated) of all your posts is that you are right and everyone else is wrong and if they disagree with you they need to prove it otherwise. You are talking a lot but you aren't saying much and you think you shouldn't have to say much.
Put some thought into this subject. You have tried to turn someone who gambles into a criminal and therefore by extension a sinner. This thread was started as a thinly veiled attempt to have a debate on religion in which you seem to think you are more knowledgeable.
What is it that makes you think your views trump all others? They don't. It is religion. Not everyone shares your beliefs and yours are not necessarily the only beliefs nor the best.
It is not like you are trying correct someone who is saying the sky is blue because the earth only reflects blue light. They would of course be wrong since the sky is blue because molecules in the air scatter blue light from the sun more than they scatter the longer wavelength light (red, orange, yellow).
You are not willing to listen to the fact that there is no right or wrong on this subject. Just because you and Hernia say it is so doesn't make it true. It is true for those who believe it to be true and for the others it is false.
Can you hear me?
I truly wish you the best in your endeavor to quit gambling.

Until only recently I thought of Gambling as something nuetral, good or bad depending on how you do it.
Now I really see Gambling for what it is, and I understand why other don't see it like I do,
It's hard to see the truth when you're completely surrounded by darkness
Besides a few posts, people would rather take Vanzacks approach and sail completely off topic.

stealing implies 0% chance for the person stolen from
gambling implies a chance even if it's as little as .0000000001
thus they are different words
the attitude that gambling equals stealing comes from losing alot which implies one of two things, the competition is better than you or you are being cheated.
this kind of makes me think of barry bonds cheating scandal and how it was used to confuse the simple minded into thinking his cheating somehow equated into the fan being stolen from,when the real thievery was happening in all the shit people buy to support the stadiums,stationsteams,etc etc etc
