Its funny that alot of the so called "rappers" that everyone is posting, are one that you hear on the radio or see in music videos. It was the people above that made rap music what it is and the mainstream guys that you mention, are the ones that sold out.

As far as unbelievable lyricism (in my opinion, the most necessary component of a good rapper), here's some of the best in no particular order:

The above may have some emotion in certain songs, they may talk about the same ol same ol in certain songs, but they're always coming with multisyllabic rhyme schemes, double entendres, internal rhymes, and excellent uses of homophones.
