I bet this prop in Vegas, YES at &#x2B;400. The prop simply stated:&#x27;Will there be a lead change the last two minutes of the game"I thought this was a winner being that the Patriots took the lead on the very last play of the game (their only lead by the way).Can anyone help explain why the sportsbook called this a loser?

The sportsbook is correct....the game was TIED when the Patriots scored the winning touchdown, thus a "lead change" did not occur within the last two minutes of the game.

So the Super Bowl had ZERO lead changes total? It seems so bizarre that a game could be completed and have a winner but yet their was never a lead change?

the game did not end with the tie. the fourth quarter did, overtime the final play of the game was the lead change.

not sure why you were not paid.

the lead change did come within the final 2 minutes.

within is different then in, within implies that it would happen before the end of the game. in states to include....

Correct....the Super Bowl had 0 "lead changes." Most of the game Atlanta was leading, then the game was TIED (no team in the lead) and then New England scored to win the game. Since the game was TIED (no team having the lead) when the Patriots scored, you&#x27;re wager is correctly graded as a Loss.

just to be clear free, when it became tied that began a zero/zero so their would have to be a fg then a td in overtime to effectively swing a lead change?

let me break it down real fastTeam A kicks a Field Goal to make the score 3-0, Team B then scores a touchdown to make the score 7-3 (since team A was ahead 3-0 at the time Team B scored a touchdown this qualifies as a "lead change")Now another example Team A scores a touchdown to make the score 7-0 (this is NOT a lead change due to the fact that neither team was "in the lead" when the score was 0-0). Team B then scores a touchdown to "TIE" the game 7-7. Team B then scores another touchdown to make the score 14-7 (this is NOT a lead change due to the fact that neither team was "in the lead" when the score difference occurred)And a third exampleTeam A scores a touchdown to make the score 7-0 (not a lead change). Team B then scores a touchdown and converts a 2-pt to make the score 8-7 (this IS a lead change due to the fact that Team A was ahead 7-0 and is now behind 8-7)

NatureYour understanding is correct. Had either team kicked a FG in Overtime and then the other team scored a touchdown...that would have qualified as a lead change, although for the OP to win the wager the lead change would have also had to have occurred in the last two minutes of the game
