I had one about 10 years ago on a par 3 that was playing 150 yards dead against the wind and straight over water.
I used a six iron and it landed on the green bounced twice hit the pin and disappeared. There was no one around the green but the foursome on the next green heard me yell. We didn't know for sure where it ended up until we got on the green and there it was in the hole.
It ended up costing me around $100 bucks which wasn't to bad.
You learn more from losing than winning. You learn how to keep going.

We will play at Greystone just north of LR. We will play the back course where they held several Hooters Tour events in the past. Zoysia fairways and bent greens, very nice championshipcourse and its about 73 to 7400 yards from the tips.

I also made an eagle on a par 5 from 160 with a 5 iron.....up-hill....couldn't even see the top of the pin.
Made an eagle on a par 4 from 135 into a stiff wind with a knock off 7 iron. Drew it into the wind....best shot I've ever made in my career as far as golf is concerned.

damn I-Phones, What the hell is this guy talking about? Pleasant Valley has some of the best money games in the state of Arkansas. Yes, it is a nice club but you make it sound like they hold a year round grey poupon convention out there.
And noworries21 and I will standout. NoWorries is a damn good golfer and I am the father of Bill Brasky. Unless you are planning on going out there and acting like a fool then we will be fine. Greystone is a shithole and on it's way to bankruptcy. Not to mention it is 35 minutes away from downtown LR and noworries is already driving 5 hours from Dallas.
I will give you one last warning and this is no bullshit aside. Noworries is a damn good player. I am sure you know Russell Wrentz from Cabot. He thought he was a badass one year when no worries came up to play in the member-guest with me. NoWorries took a few hundred from him in about 4 or 5 holes before Russell politely ended the match and paid up because he was out of money and he realized he was beaten. I understand it is easy to think, this internet tough guy NW21 is all talk but I can assure you he is as good as he advertises. I've played a lot @ Harbor Pt. (grew up in Mukilteo) & they have damn good greens........but it's swampy (like most other courses around here) until mid-summer. I played the spring 2-man at Moses a couple times.........like the course but the wind blows nonstop.....we quit going after freezing our asses off the 2nd time. I recommend Apple Tree if you haven't been there yet..........lotta good holes besides the 17th. I just got back last night from a 2-man @ Meadow Springs CC (Richland)..........great course.......used to host a Nike Tour event there. I'm headed to Pt. Angeles in a couple weeks for a tourney .......not sure I'm looking forward to it with the weather we've had.........real tired of playing in the mud.

I feel your pain, this weather is really fucking up the golf plans. I've only played 2 times this year...and both within the last month. Usually I'm good to go with anything over 40 degrees...but it's just crap shoot right now. Good news is the last couple weeks have finally felt like spring...a few rainy days mixed in with some beautiful ones. Next time I'm headed out to play I will have to let you know. What area are you in right now...that would be convenient for both?

Im not a big golfer... but my friends were on pitch and putt/par3 type of course taking and I had a friend hit a hole in one on a hole that was like less then 100 yards... im guessing a PW or 9iron was used...
Sounds lame, but it was pretty cool at the moment...
