If you have no choice but to fight make sure you land the first punch on his nose. Make his eyes water and don't let up after that. Throw fists, knees, and, elbows til he is down. Stay relentless and don't let him get to his feet.

Btw, not only was Salty's response hilarious, it was correct. Make that guy think you will go to extremes he won't. He is only picking on you because of perception. If you were 6' 5" 220lbs he wouldn't be doing this. You're probably not since you made this thread. He has to have doubt put into his mind that messing with you is a good idea.

And don't run to the cops! Don't do that sh!t. Never ever get the cops involved unless its a last resort i.e. life or death. Don't be that guy that runs to cops. You'll always get f'ed with then, and you'll deserve it at that point.

This is what the new US is all about. A guy gets drunk does something stupid, and cries like a pansy because he might get beaten up.
Here's what you do. Call Obama down at the White House. Tell him you're getting bullied by some bad ass republican. You'll get your very own personal FBI bodyguard for as long as you deem necessary.
If he denies your request just start stomping your feet and crying like the batch you are!

Dude unless the guy has like 6 inches and 80 pounds on you, you gotta fight him.

From the sound of it, you never been in a fight before. Getting hit doesn't hurt when you are in a fight because your adrenalin is going so hard.

Why the hell are you running your mouth if you are such a little girl? The only way you can get out of it is to tell him straight up you will press charges if he hits you. (this is a puzzy move, but you are obviously a little girl, so it doesn't matter)

UPDATE

Guy tells me was joking, trying to fux with me because of the garbage I said to him. Getting away scotch free. Violence is never the answer, we need to move forward as a race. Life is beautiful no need to waste energy battling humans, we are all in this uphill battle, hopefully one day we will be able to migrate to a greater planet or meet a species that is far advanced then we are.

Make it a great day or not the choice is yours.

A lot of "tough guys" out there. otp just wait till you are old enough to go to bars.

There are two types of guys. Tough guys and guys who are violent.

Tough guys run their mouths like punks and most people are intimidated by the bark.

Problem is for tough guys is eventually they run into a man who is violent.

Guess what? The violent guy wins everytime.

The violent guy does not want trouble because he knows what may happen if he is pushed and truly wants to avoid the situation.

"Tough guys" are a dime a dozen and you can spot these douches easily by them going around like a chicken hawk intimidating others that buy into the front. 
I've been told I was a "dead man" by 3 guys in my life after they blab this and that to others. Guess what? They want nothing to do with me now.

Is it really smack talk if it is the truth but the other person obviously does not want to hear the truth. Sometimes you just have to speak your mind and you might come off has a tough guy. Holding your tongue is not a option anymore. Salty I honestly can't wait to go to 45 and over bars. I think they are called American Legion in my part of the world.

Based on what you said in the original post, it doesn't sound like this had anything to do with you in the first place.

Plus, there's a reason the Courts do not recognize words as sufficient provocation for a physical fight, especially when it just involves a bunch of drunk nonsense.

You can be a man and not a pus*y while still recognizing that fighting over words is rarely in your best interest.

Even though this issue is squashed, I figured I should chime in.

Unless you're in high school or something, which I doubt because you really couldn't be on this site unless you were at least 18, it's not like you'll have to see him all the time.

Option 1 is to take your chances, find him, explain what happened, and see if he'll squash it with you. Sounds like that's what happened.

Option 2 would be to just stay away from him for a little while. Time dissipates anger, and it's likely after he blows off some steam for a while, he won't care anymore.

Everyone says and does ish when they're drunk. If it's someone you actually know he'll just say shuttup let's get a beer next time you see him.

I think you take this as a lesson learned type event.  You run your mouth and sometimes you pay the price.  This time you didn't, next time  who knows.  Learn fast young boy, a loose mouth almost always ends up with a blackened eye.
