Good to be back.

 

With utmost respect, I now pass the torch to jmw59, whom I consider to be "cool".

My goal is to keep the "spirit" of ApacheM going forever...........

For those who don't know, I took his avatar after he passed. He did not go quietly, or without a fight. They took a leg from this proud Marine at the VA.................and things got worse......

This man had a joke or a recipe for everybody, and I got to know him better when his wife took ill.  She made it.

A truly great guy, I want to honor his memory in this way.

jm, keep the avatar for as long or as little as you want. Please pass it on to someone who embodies the spirit of Apache. They don't have to tell jokes or provide recipes, just look at your friends list, and figure it out. You can't, let me know.

Until then, my friends, take care of yourself.

I really feel honored that everyone would honor my dad like this.  He would be proud and humbled that he made an impact on so many people.  Thank you very much.

You are absolutely correct.  He just liked to post his recepies and jokes.  He was never asking for anything just put in his 2 cents in every now and then,
