There are several reasons why Black Americans are mad.
1) Racial/Social Injustice
Racial/Social injustice is deeply rooted in Slavery, which is the sin of the United States of America.
Black people rights are still being denied by cops because they wear uniforms and the justice system enables them to get away with murders.
Racism is about wealth, control, power. It's not just the person is black and I don't want to deal with him or her. It's more complicated than that.
US was built on the back of African Slaves.

the denial or violation of economic, sociocultural, political, civil, or human rights of Blacks or groups in a society based on the perception of their inferiority still has consequences. It's no longer in the Constitution but it is still condoned in American society.
what makes a cop believe he can deny a black American citizen his constitutional rights ?
It has nothing to do with the progress they have made.
There are a lot of wealthy black people living in California and they get profiled by idiotic cops.
What do black Americans get longer sentences for the same crime or less than their white counterparts
2) Character Assassination and denial of Responsibility
Some white people and the media embrace the portrayal of black males as dangerous to be feared when the historical record paints a different picture about who should be feared.

Greenwood is a neighborhood in Tulsa, Oklahoma. As one of the most successful and wealthiest black communities in the United States during the early 20th Century, it was popularly known as America's "Black Wall Street" until the Tulsa race riot of 1921, in which white residents massacred black residents and razed the neighborhood within hours. The riot was one of the most devastating massacres in the history of U.S.race relations, destroying the once thriving Greenwood community.
Within five years after the massacre, surviving residents who chose to remain in Tulsa rebuilt much of the district. They accomplished this despite the opposition of many white Tulsa political and business leaders and punitive rezoning laws enacted to prevent reconstruction. It resumed being a vital black community until segregation was overturned by the Federal Government during the 1950s and 1960s. Desegregationencouraged blacks to live and shop elsewhere in the city, causing Greenwood to lose much of its original vitality. Since then, city leaders have attempted to encourage other economic development activity nearby.
There are still mad black people. Kids and grand kids of the successful black people of Greenwood.

meaning; they have had enough of being profiled, and murdered by predominantly white cops...the instances are numerous, need I elaborate? we can start with the 12 year old black kid who was murdered for playing in the park with a 'toy' cap gun...I could give you over 300 more in just about every major U.S. city over the past 4 years, old, young, doesn't matter...take a long look at the Baton Rouge video...what do you see?
