I'm happy eating the junk food I eat, I do so in moderation and I also exercise, Exercise is the biggest thing here, Basketball players eat more junk than you could imagine but they burn that crap off.
Eating healthy isn't all that it's supposedly made out to be, I suppose there's a middle ground between eating super healthy crap and eating junk food, I guess eating 'quality' food is what we should be looking to do.

I did about 12 years ago. It is much harder to be fat when you cut all of those bad choices out

Run out and buy a treadmill with a TV attached, for your trailer. When a sports event comes on TV, walk at a little incline for the whole game. 2 hours. TAKE A HALF TIME BREAK ALSO. Do this every other day.
Don't expect the weight to come off over night. 12 pounds a month is the Goal, Write on the wall, next playboy pin-up. No women wants a fat guy, just like you don't want a fat gal. 12 pounds X 6 months + 72 pounds
Forget all that health food stuff . For your meals, eat what you like, but at smaller portions. eat about half. You'll need the vitamins.
