I believe it...watch poker after dark...he bets $50,000 A FLOP, not on his hole cards, but on a prop bet...the bet being, will 2 out of three on the flop be red or black? and each guy chooses a color.. and if all there are black or all red the loser has to pay double = $100,000...he does this with Patrick Antonious and Zigmund...that is FOR EVERY FLOP played...

Given he's lost and won upwards of $500K doing just that (outside of poker), I can see him taking a ML favorite like the Colts for 2 million...

many he was laying the cash for someone but surely he lost something on the colts. if he liked the saints then he just could just covered the bet himslef. Think about it. The Colts M/L and spread plays were sucker bets as fundamentally the Saints had a lot going for them, andit&#x27;s hard to believe that "sharps" would be on the Colts...

Very hard to believe that a sharp bettor would wager so much on the Superbowl which is essentially a very 'public' game.

There are much more better value bets to be had throughout the course of the season than betting the Superbowl favourite,and especially betting Moneyline of all things

With so much handle on the Superbowl the sportsbooks don&#x27;t like any risk on these types of games so they can just collect the juice. So there is very little value in these type of games. Very few sharps even wager on these public games.

i remember last year talking to a friend of mine (that is a pro on the poker circuit) saying how ivey told him he made atleast 10bets before halftime on the pit/ari superbowl. then to make some money back he made more half time bets.... saying how he wished he didnt watch that game at all.
this year instead of ivey doing his own capping he takes the advice of a tout...shows that gambling to gamble isnt really fun now is it?

I am going to disagree with you on that one... as he owns a minority share in fulltilt puts him in the 100mil&#x2B; net worth. you are aware how much money fulltilt makes yearly? not to mention the cash he already has, the assets, endorsements, winnings  all on a yearly basis ..etc  if you can go play a cash game of 500/1k nl, 1k/2k plo, 2k/4k mixed, then 10k/20k l 2-7 lb and have multiple buy-ins ready for each game back to back..... that lets one know you can afford the large swings. 2mil is not a dent in ivey&#x27;s bankroll. infact any pro that plays stakes  500/1k online or live can afford to lose 2mil. its happened and does happen on a weekly basis. ive even seen daily swings of 4mil online.

He&#x27;s an action junkie.  He&#x27;d be the first to tell you.
