Could not disagree more. This country has always been there for the legitimately needy--gladly. Slackers are something else entirely.

The "system" as so many have called it, is geared towards eliminating achievement.  Through achievement, comes empowerment....and that is a threat to the guys on top.

It is hard to run a small business.... in this country.  Take the financial risk, work your asss off far more than 40 hrs a week, and then kick over half of what you make to the feds.  At the end of the day, the only reward you get is not having to answer to anyone.

Except the tax man of course........
