Search, know the excruciating pain you&#x27;re going through. I&#x27;ve had it twice and my urologist recommended beer. I would think a majority of people don&#x27;t get any, but the ones I&#x27;ve seen have them it seems to reoccur a lot in them. I couldn&#x27;t even imagine the pain.

Kidney Stones... Worst pain ever in my lifetime. I had the entire emergency room disrupted because I was screaming for them to give me some immediate shot of pain killer and they weren't moving fast enough. Nasty, nasty, stuff.

&#xD;&#xA;It&#x27;s that bad. I just stood in the lobby hunched over a chair. I&#x27;m not a crier but I ended up finally on a hospital bed wheeping in my hands. Took &#xE9;m 4 hours to get the pain just managable with morhine, and that just made puke blood.&#xD;&#xA;Beer sound great but too full of percocet.

What is amazing is that we are talking about stones that are as little as a grain of sand.  Hard to believe something so tiny can cause that much excruciating pain.

Guys, if you get hit with this, absolutely demand they IV drip you with TORADOL. Morhine does not work for chit on stones.

My ex is Trauma RN, she laughed at that dr and gave me syringes an 4 vials of injectable to shoot ever 5 hours.

I too was in so much pain and without health insurance. I finally had to go to the ER and then had to file chapter 7 because i couldn&#x27;t afford to pay for it.. I have been branded with a lit cigar on my arm that left a quarter sized scar on my forearm. Got hit square in the nose with a haymaker. Those are like tickles comparered to passing a kidney stone..

3 OUT OF THE 4 TIMES I HAD TO GET OPERATED ON AND GET A STENT PUT INSIDE ME FOR A WEEK. THE 4TH TIME I PASSED IT IN THE WAITING ROOM.

Not a joke. I ended up in the hospital both times I had them and I have a very high physical pain tolerance The doctor who was female said the pain has been described by women as the only pain comparable to natural child birth.

Meds don't work well with it. They were running IV's with fluid at a rapid pace, asking me to drink water as I could tolerate. As well they were hitting me with shots of morphine and dilaudid which worked for about an hour the first time then no more than 20 minutes from any point after that.

I have also been so lucky to experience gout a few times and it is brutal as well if it goes full blown.

Pain killers will constipate you big time. A lot of stone patient are in the er in the next few days because they cant take a crap.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;bol
