When will the season tickets be available for the Raiders? Will they use a lottery system? please give some Info. on this subject.

Better question is when will the Raiders realize the Vegas market cannot support the revenue required to profitably run their football team?

Will be interesting to see how much Las Vegas season ticket holder's they sell.   However, when big name teams such as the Steelers or Cowboys play in Vegas you have to assume they will bring in easily 15K -20K+ of their fans that travel to Vegas to Party/Vacation and watch their team.

That's a good point. I don't think Vegas thought this one all the way through.

The stands will be packed full of gamblers EVERY game, just don't know how many will be RAIDERS fans. This is crazy. Imagine getting drafted at 21 years old by the LAS VEGAS Raiders....casinos and whooores everywhere. Crazy

Whoore's, booze and nightclubs are in every city and almost every college town.
Season tickets will sell out to mostly corporate. Between the convention crowds, away teams bringing in fans (as Dave said) and high rollers getting all the free tickets they want this will be the first time in over a decade the Raiders sell out a home game. The only way they sold out that dilapidated baseball stadium is because the entire upper deck is closed and drapped with a Raiders banner. 

Next time you check into a Vegas Strip hotel you'll answer a question regarding your favorite football team. If you spend enough $$$ you'll be comped a room with tickets when they come to town. It's only 8 games, sell outs will not be a problem. Getting tickets could be expensive. 

I'm a looooong time Raider fan and would've preferred they stayed in Oakland. Playing in that baseball stadium was not the answer in this day and age. They had to move as Davis couldn't afford a new stadium on his own  (that 11th hour BS from the mayor of Oakland is nothing more than politics). Thankfully they lost out on playing second fiddle in LA. That would've been a disaster.

This also helps out with free agency. Money is first choice but when money is similar between 2 teams what's next? Location and a winning team. Every little bit helps

I'm in the minority on this thread but i see this as a great move.  Even my freinds from northern cali understand this move. Not happy, but understand the reasons. I can't wait to meet some of my Raider friends for an annual home game in Vegas.

This, right here. Same will happen with the L.A. Rams/Chargers, and any team that opens a Super-Mega-Walmart-Disney-Family-Sportspark. These will make "Jerruh's Playhouse" look like where the Raiders play now - and catered towards the super rich "fan". I'm predicting a lot of outdoor typically freezing teams (Packers, Bears, Steelers, etc.) playing the Raiders in December, and the "Corporate Fukks" package will be the only way to see them live.

This may be the beginning of the end for the NFL. Oh well, we had a good run.....

If I were Davis...I would sell the Raiders in the next 2-3 years to the Fertitas for $3.5 Billion.  Ofcourse one of the Fertitas need to divest from the Casino business.  By moving the Raiders from Oakland...Davis just made himself an extra 1-1.5 Billion+....He would have been a fool not to move the team.  Win Win for both sides. Vegas contributes $750 Million for the stadium + $200 million for infrastructure, with most of the money coming from Hotel tax.  More revenue for Vegas from more visitors/NFL exposure.  Raiders value almost doubles.

Season tickets went on sale today. $100 deposit gets you on the season ticket/PSL waiting list. I put a deposit down today.

If the team is not super competitive I think it will fail and quickly.

Locals are not going to pay high dollars for a bad product, in fact I dont think the locals will support the team much win or lose. 

I think it will end up being a big bust and inside 10 years they will move again back to the larger market they came from (or LA).

Raiders are a playoff and possible Super Bowl contending team for the next 5 years as long as Carr is healthy.   Carr..Cooper..Mack all under 26 years old.

How quickly things change, the team has been bad for most of the last decade. Lets see how they do this year, I am not convinced on Carr yet..but the coach is solid and that has value.

I can almost guarantee that they sell out all of the available seasons tickets.  Raider Nation isn't so much exclusive to Oakland, but it's a North American phenomenon. Las Vegas is by far the most accessible city in the US with many direct flights from every major market in the country. Coupled with great hotels, legslised gambling, 5 star restaurants and endless entertainment options,  Raiders fans will flock to sin city for weekend trips to catch their team play.

BTW, they have taken aprx 42,741 ($100 deposits) season ticket request in the last 48 hrs from the time they have become available to the general public....the NFL are licking there chops over this move...all but one owner (Miami Dolphins) voted for the move.

When did Vegas become this consumer tourist trap? Vegas seemed much more interesting in the past, but when did it start turning into this cheesy monstrosity?

A lot of people who live in Vegas are already fans of other teams. The place will be filled with fans of other teams. It will probably be worse in that regard for the hockey team, as there are still some Raider fans in the Vegas area.

The "Raider Nation" fans will not be coming to Vegas every home game. Easier said than done. They will come 1 maybe 2 times a season for a trip/vacation etc.   You have to realize games will be played 4PM in Vegas on a Sunday or the Sunday night game.  Most people have jobs and work on Mondays.  Will be interesting to see if the Vegas Locals support this team.

A lot of the season tickets will be bought up by the casinos and given as comps, along with other corporate companies as perks. Highly doubt a ton of actual Raiders' fans are going to buy them up.
