Tim Tebow doesn't force any of his beliefs on anyone. He can say whatever he wants however he wants, pointblank.com. People of other Faiths say whatever they want to say, etc. Atleast Tebow has the balls to stand up for what he believes in. If you knew anything about his Faith you wouldn't say the things you do, but its not surprising that a bunch of degenarates mock him. After all, when your life is compared to his....now thats funny.
PS. The FOOL says there is no God.
they've come out of the woodwork for the tebow thread.

You are mocking him for celebrating life and family. You are a degenerate pig. You are trying to act all cool by bashing him for not tapping every box that comes his way. I don't believe Tebow has said anything about the great Vaughnk and Vanzack, yet you find it necessary to ridicule him for his beliefs. Do you think you are superior to him?
I think people like you that feel the need to bash others beliefs are the ones that need to look in the mirror. What are you, 12?
Laughing at someone who preaches the celebration of life and family must really make you feel like a big man. In my eyes you are nothing but a poser. A sad lonely poser.
I think Tim Tebow is a product of brainwashing from birth (and maybe conception).
Do I think I am "better than him"? I would expect nothing less than a ridiculously simplistic question from a guy like you.... but here goes:
I think I am better than him at gambling. I think I understand math and probability better than him. I think I am better at pleasing a woman sexually than him. I think I am a better father than him.
I think he is better at football than me. I dont know what else.
Does that answer your question? Let me know, and feel free to ask me any more moronic abstract questions you wish.

i have no doubt about this, in my opinion, especially because the guy was home schooled in a county that is supposed to have a very good public school system.
one question i ask of the religious folks who are so sure of their beliefs is what persepctive they really have. they never answer. there are over a thousand religions. we know that. my guess is these people are only familiar with the one they were exposed to as kids through parents and maybe early schooling. why would a person assume that the one and only religion they were exposed to just by virtue of the fact that it was their parents' religion is the 100% correct one to the exclusion of the 1000+ others?
rotchburn, if you grew up in germany in the 1930's and 1940's there's a good chance you'd have been a nazi. if you grew up in afghanistan or iraq or iran in the 90's and 2000's, there's a good chance you'd be a muslim who hates america and would like to see it wiped off of the map. if you grew up in the jungle of africa, tjhere's a good chance you would have never heard of christanity or God.

This is exactly correct. Religious selection would be much more validated if there was actually some sort of selection process - but since 95% of people who consider themselves religious are the religion they were brought up in - there really is no selection process or open examination.
And to continue...
If you grew up at covers, you would believe in sharps and squares, the double reverse trap, fixes, and hedging every bet.

Were you not influenced by your parents and your upbringing?
Does it make you feel good to laugh at another person because their faith differs from yours?
Does it make you feel important to laugh at a guy for standing by his convictions?
You seem to forget that you are the one who laughed and made fun of him, he didn't say or do anything to you.
Stop acting like you are not an arrogant, biased ego-maniac. That is exactly how you come across. That is not a very flattering quality for such a great man as yourself.
I'll bet women love it when you talk math and gambling while you please them so

No one here is critiquing your beliefs. The problem I have is that you guys are blatantly bashing Tim Tebow for his beliefs. I don't think Tim ever came out and said "my beliefs are better or more true then your beliefs"?
Your arrogance that your beliefs are fact and other people, religious people, have to prove there is a God and you just assume because they can't prove their is a God, that you are right and they are stupid.
btw, you non-believers are in the vast minority. Your arrogance will also get you into alot of trouble if God forbid (pun intended) that you are wrong
To piss all of you non-believers off I will pray for your lost souls

My mom is a born again Christian. I was very influenced by her. Unfortunately for her and you, I was able to get a round perspective and make my own decisions, and I chose rationality.
Does it make you feel good to laugh at another person because their faith differs from yours?
I dont necessarily laugh. I understand some of the psychology that makes people choose religion. Sometimes I laugh at the stupidity of it all, but not always - there are lots of times it is totally explainable (Like TT being brainwashed).
Does it make you feel important to laugh at a guy for standing by his convictions?
It makes me feel like I am presenting an alternate point of view. If someone behaves in a funny manner (like not banging hot chicks for no reason) - I laugh.
You seem to forget that you are the one who laughed and made fun of him, he didn't say or do anything to you.
SO what? What is your point? He is famous, and I am only semi-famous (covers, gambling world, yachting world). If he was a gambler, he would know me, and he would laugh at me too.
Stop acting like you are not an arrogant, biased ego-maniac. That is exactly how you come across. That is not a very flattering quality for such a great man as yourself.
The downside of being better than everyone else is that sometimes I am perceived as being arrogant.

and rotchburn, i welcome any and all critiques of my beliefs, assuming i've expressed any other than the one where i said tebow was an idiot for not baning as many girls as possible at UF.
they say certain religious types don't like it when you shine a light on their beliefs. i, on the other hand, encourage it.

I am never going to get away from this guy.......I thought after new years I could gladly watch sports without having to heard Tebow this and Tebow that, Tebow is the 2nd coming, and his mom looks like Patriarch Adams from the Adams family.. When they showed her during the SEC Championship game she looked like she could kill someone with those eyes....MAKE IT STOP PLEASE!!!!

Tim Teebow & his family are legit. His parents are missionaries. Why do you hate them so?
Praise the Lord Jesus Christ for positive people.
Don't we have enough foul mouth fornicating drug doping felons in the sports?
Don't believe everything you hear on the news... His family has many skeletons in their closet and still has stuff they do today that would be look down upon.. I am not gonna get into it here but everything is not always what it seems...
