My brother found $1,000 in a phone booth once. Was in a bag so he had no way of knowing who it belonged to. Kept it.
Was swimming in the ocean (New Jersey) with the same brother and money started floating by. We grabbed at least $200. Will never experience anything like that again. The sea was angry that day my friends...
Grandmother who was raised in the Depression always found money. Like she could sniff it out or something. I guess when you don't have anything you learn to keep your eyes open at all times.

At the racetrack, I put my voucher in self-bet machine and the total was like$5600 over the amount I had. I kept my mouth shut and I sat down next to machine for20 minutes waiting for the lost soul to come looking. After 20minutes I went into VIP lounge and bet all night and turned it into more. Found money is lucky money.

As i was walking to an atm there was a card already in and the computer asked "do u need more time"... Immediately i realized what had happened and acted accordingly very fast hit $100 withdrawal took the card and sped walk to my car.. As i was leaving, a million things ran thru my head and i ended up feeling guilty or as if the cameras saw me and i would eventually get caught since it was my regular bank.... So i returned the card to a teller. Something i would never thought i was capable of doing. There was my bad side and good side all at once... And all i went for was 20 bucks for gas or some shit lol ... Im still in "wow" mode

Had a similar thing happen when I was young, broke and didn't know any better. Was on my way to meet my bro in law at a strip club. Stopped by the atm to get some cash so I didn't have to pay the fees at the strip club atm. Screen says would you like another transaction, so I pressed yes thinking it would ask for the pin again but it didn't. It let me withdraw $200 which I dropped all of it at the strip club. I still feel bad about that to this day, had to be about 20 years ago.
I sell foreclosures. I get this house assigned to me that backs to a hillside about 10 years ago. Up above was the neighbors back yard that slipped down the hill into my property. Was looking at the damage and taking photos kicking some dirt around and spot a couple of bills that were really dirty. Dig around some more and there were $10's, $20's, $50's and $100's mixed in with the dirt. My friend/partner and I spent about 4 hours in suits digging around that hill. We came up with close to 5k. A month later when the contractors came in they told me the found about 20k more when they excavated/hauled the dirt away and installed a retaining wall. One of my field reps would always volunteer to inspect the property for me, I knew why he was so eager.
Somebody must have buried the cash in the backyard above some point in time. Nobody every contacted me regarding the money and I spoke to the owners of the house above multiple times for insurance claims, repairs etc. they did not say a word either. Still puzzles me to this day.

Money floating by in the ocean??? You can just reach out and grab it??
One of the most amazing stories I have ever heard of..
How does something like that happen?
Drug people must have had to dump everything out of their boat to avoid arrest and somebody else got lucky and scooped some of it up as it floated by.

I was in the gym at 24fitness and some guy took out his keys and dropped $20 on the ground. I swooped it up and put it in my pocket. In my fuc.ked up head I thought well we're in the hood, if you're slippin that's your fault. At this point in my life I would pick it up and give it to the guy because I saw who dropped it and I would hope someone would do that for me. That could have been his last money for gas or money for his babies diapers...lol iono. If I find it and no one is around though thats a different story.

When I was younger I was the guy who would pull the carts into the grocery store from outside. One day I see a blue bacnk bag in a cart. I picked it up and i could FEEL all the money in there. I didn't even open it up, I just walked it to the front desk and turned it in. Turns out there was roughly $3,500 or so in there.

saw a bunch of $20 bills fly into the air at a street corner i was standing at in manhattan. Such a crowded day and weird thing was only me and one lady who was standing next to me saw the cash. We both looked made eye contact and grabbed all of it. I came up with $80 and she picked up $40. ship it!
...oh yea then she asked me for money and i told her to get away from me

I was at the OTB at Arlington Park while I was off work recovering from a medical issue in 1996 and cashed my ticket (for $5 probably). I turned around to return to my chair and spot a hundred on the floor. I was the only one for 25 feet in every direction so...........it's mine!!! I pick it up and as I get back upright there's a guy about 20 feet away giving me the death stare.
Sucks to be you I'm thinkin.....
