Yeah, but you've got a thread like this Break In on the same GD board right now. Seems to me if you live in the US you could get shot at any time. Just about everyone has a gun...the good guys and the bad guys.

I didn't realize that 'saying a prayer' for someone was contingent on the lifestyle someone led - which may or may not have been the reason why the kid got shot. A very Holier than Thou attitude I must say. If that's the way some of you feel, why not just be quiet about it? ( not just picking on you Devils )

Just got an update. After a 7 hour surgery, looks like the kid is going to be ok for the most part. Had to have his jaw, cheek bone and the bottom of his eye socket reconstructed. I guess it shattered the right side of his face. The bullet went through the bottom of his jaw, through the cheek bone and came out by the bottom of his eye. No idea what that will look like when it is all said and done, but at least he is going to be ok.
