I’ve been here a couple minutes. THE SITE CREATES YOUR HEROS. There’s been some originals that are real but to all the most recent millennial fuktards that ideally shouldn’t repopulate — please don’t think this isn’t a manipulated environment. The difference between a Covers free pick and your personal poster flavor of the month is branding. You’re an idiot. You will look back at how much time you spend on covers 10 years from now and realize you’re a moron.

I think The Snowman is my hero, after winning with his picks i can help my mom buy groceries, he always makes me laugh, money and laughing, thats all i really want in life. The went 2-0 last night on the same game while some loud guy named Straightbets went 0-4. Its a strange world

I didnt miss the point brother. It's called sarcasm.
I know Train. Wasn't referring to you. Broader point was handles like Straightbest, Asmith, etc -- all these accounts that come on with tout like runs...that's partially the site. 15 years ago it was Philly in hoops and there's been countless others.
Anyways. I think I've hit my quota of posts for the year. GL

Not for their picks but for the valuable wisdom that was given. These are condensed stories.
King Scorpio(ksfrom now on)
It was baseball season and ks listed his early noon game pick of the day. As usual, it was getting bashed by the notable covers trolls due to the reasoning of the pick and ksgave a very important, though provoking response along the lines of "IF you don' think that odds makers put out lines that they know will get lopsided action thus making money for the book, you're a fool." and I believe that to this day. I won by the way too..
TRAIN69
It was the "big" game of the evening for that Saturday evening college football this past 2019 season. A questionable and slumping LSU was -13.5 hosting a visiting Florida Gators who were just dominating heir previous games in scoring AND defense. The "experts" on the forum created a thread about who to back. As usual, the garbage "experts" were giving their "expert" garbage Sportscenter advice/comments that can be found ANYWHERE on the internet of: take the points, I don't know how LSU will score against that defense, etc... Train came in there, gave his 2 cents (he picked LSU-13.5) and responded to one of the "experts" who was criticizing his comments with this, tid bit of wisdom along the lines of: "What separates experienced cappers from recreational cappers is knowing when to throw the data out the window and go on your gut feeling." Obviously, the garbage "experts" just couldn't do that, they both posted their pick of Florida +13.5 because all they know is from watching 30+ years of college football (failing the eye test) and all the data was point to Florida for at least a cover if not outright win, were bragging it as "a winner already, biggest play of the week" going into other members thread and criticizing them for their LSU pick, etc.. Needless to say, LSU won by 14 and I also picked LSU-13.5.
And my nomination for the title of "Covers hero?"
Surprisingly...
"Schrödinger's bet." A bet that loses when you bet it but wins when you DON'T bet it...

You know, zkis fuckin scatter brained. His grammar, his reasoning but it's really interesting to see somebody arrive at a conclusion in all that madness. It's amazing when he lists his pick for a game, he will go out of his way to find and dig up 80+ odd/bizarre trends to support his pick. Not only that but he will go into other's member's threads and put his trends on their thread to try and convince them to change their pick. A couple of times, he actually recorded him self and his capping process, put it on youtube for us to watch. It was quite comical and no I didn't watch the whole thing, just bits and pieces of it but one of the few times that we to see who zkwas in real life and his thought process.
If you've never ventured into the other forums such as the "General discussion" forum, zkhas insane, crazy threads along the lines of:
"100% can't lose craps/slots system.." and other odd/bizarre ramblings.. COVERS.com is an integral part of zk'slife. It would be interesting if somebody read his threads somewhere down the line and say "You know, this guy was onto something..." Or zkgetting a posthumous following due to his way of thinking like the writer Franz Kafka..(google,youtube him, interesting story)

Philly Guy with totals and capskip with pups have made me the most money, and since I will probably never get to share a or two with anyone here, that's really all that's relevant.

i always thought happy kane had a unique algo system that produced consistent winners. max58 has always gone on massive runs. settle down spaz always offers a solid reasoning for the most contrarian picks and hits some unbelievable dogs
No team is as good as it looks when winning nor are they as bad as they look when losing
