It's Joe Philbin, HC of the Miami Dolphins. I dont know if any of you have been watching Hardknocks, but this is just the dumbest fucking coach out there. No idea how to run a team, his practices are shit, he treats the players like pieces of shit - because of him a potential 6-10 team is going to finish 2-14. Dude is just that fucking terrible. THIS is the coach that wont be able to make second half adjustments, he just appears completely incapable.

First off I tend to agree. He definitely never smiles and treats the players like low class citizens. He has inherited a REAL CRAPPY GROUP of players. Interesting tidbit. He was a coach on Mike Sherman's staff when Shermy was HC of the Packers. Now Shermy is a coach for Joe. I think he has assembled a good staff around him. Problem is the team f*cking sucks.

My answer would have been any coach that does not start Tebow

When you've been asst. coach for 9yrs you aren't used to being the headman...used to being told what to do and not managing the whole team. I saw the last episode and he was going around picking up pieces of tape on the field and other garbage. It almost seemed like he was OCD or something.

i don't think philbin is a moron, but he is not head coach material.  he is so hesitant when he talks to people and never looks them in the eye.  plus, he had david garrard penciled in as the starter until the injury.  david garrard--are you kidding????????

Joe Philbin will be a better head coach than Sparano.

Who said a coach has to be friendly to be successful?

Look - it's plain and simple, the guy doesn't know what the fuck he's doing. This guy is just that fucking absent minded. He's lost! The season is slipping away from the team weeks before opening kickoff! 

They just traded CB Vontae Davis to the Colts and did not receive fair value in return. AND THIS WAS PHILBIN'S DECISION! NOT GM JEFF IRELANDS! YOU JUST DONT GET RID OF THE 2ND BEST PLAYER ON YOUR DEFENSE!

The dummy wanted Brandon Marshall out in April. Ok. So your going to draft a kid out of Texas A&M who only has 19 career NCAAF starts and not give him anyone to throw the ball to??? There are no receivers behind Marshall. 

The Dolphins arent just WEAKER without Marshall, Davis, and Chad Johnson but they also LOST THE VETERANS on the team already who see talent just walking right out the door. Just look at KARLOS DANSBY - he hasnt even practiced since Philbin got upset with him for questioning the Johnson release! "Knee Injury" is the reason but you and I know that the timing is fucking amazingly coincidental. 

This team is going backwards due to having the WORST and FUCKING DUMBEST COACH in the NFL since RICH KOTITE (Eagles and JETS back in the day). I think a team that had at best 7-9 potential falls to 2-14. Houston -7 to open the season is a LOCK against this sorry ass team.

Im fucking sorry, but coaches in this league are judges only on WINS and LOSSES. And losing two of your best players in WR Marshall and CB Davis arent going to help you win more games. The Dolphins got the shit end of the stick in both of those deals. This might be curtains by week 8 for dumbo Philbin.

All 3 guys were guys with huge character issues.

Marshall - Stabbed by his wife and then he hit a women - gone

Johnson - Headbutts a women - gone

Vontae Davis - A lot of potential, but had huge conditioning issues last year (had conditioning issues on hardknocks) and has shown up hungover to practice in the past (causing a fight with teammates) - gone.

Philbin is holding his players accountable. I see no problem with that. The Fins started out 0-7 with Sparano who was a players coach and too soft.

And for the record, Cam Wake is EASILY the best player on the Fins Defense

Houston will win this game by 24+. The Texans defense is gonna be tough despite some big losses. Schaub/aj/foster should have field days. The winning margin bets should pay nicely. Also parlay the ML with the Lions ML (Rams aint goin on the road and winning).

I don't know making a team who would go 6-10 go 2-14 seems like a pretty smart man to me.  What is the upside of 6-101?  At least with 2-14 they have great draft picks next year.  Then maybe they are ready in 2013.

Is this guy a Parcells prodigy?  That would explain the permanent red-ass. 

Don't like the Tannehill pick ......he is unproven at QB in my book, but I am pulling for him.

The team 'suppose' to be the worst in the nfl doesn't win 35-13.

They held Foster under 100, and Mcfadden to 22 yards.

If it wasn't for 21 points in the last two minutes of the first half against the Texans they could be 2-0.  They aren't going anywhere but you have to admit they are better than you said.
