You cannot treat debt this way if you are the guy that you owe money to. A debt is between the borrower and the lender only and he cannot make you pay your friend with money you owe him. As for what you owe though, pay the guy.

Every time i was up money the kid wouldnt pay out and say next week next week ill have it and he would make ppl bet all their winnings away...my friend already had an account with him just so happens my friend wanted to go halfs with me

Something tells me the reason he didn't pay you on time before is because you've always held out on him. You better hope he doesn't know a bigger bookie and transfer your account to him. He should pay your friend but if he says he's not paying him til you pay up thats his business and theres not much you can do expect break his legs for something you're doing at the time. Sooner or later if the money is enough you're friend is gonna turn on you, because you're the bad guy in this whole situation. You're down money pay up or don't play.

A few years back when I was young & dumb, I racked up a debt, totaling 5x the amount of my bi-weekly paycheck.
I couldn't afford to pay the whole thing. My local booky cancelled my account, and told me to pay off in payment installments. I did not want to do that. I was bitter that I was being cut off from the gambling world. This guy wasn't a friend of mine. All he was was somebody who took my money, or paid me money. I could care less about him . . .
But I also had a conscience & believed in that little thing called karma, and didn't want to be "that guy" everyone will be talking about @ their lunch breaks & dinner conversations.
So I said fucc it. All I'm going to do is LOSE, LOSE, LOSE, right? So, 8 weeks later, I paid the debt off. My booky couldn't have been more happier because other people skip out of town, per say, and don't pay. He then re-opened my account, lowered my limit, and what do you know... I went on a roll. A big roll. 4 consecutive weeks. Then was able to add credit towards my account by paying my local ahead of time. Anyways...
Moral of this story is... pay your debts. Always pay your debts. If you owe money to a booky, and you hop another book, or piggy back your friends' account, you'll NEVER, EVER come out a winner. You'll only make things worse for yourself, and your friend.
