Overslept this morning...might be getting fired.....i feel like

absolute shit.....drank too much bacardi, ate too many pot cookies and now the fucking alarm clock decides not to work!!!
I work in the restaurant biz, waiting tables and this douschebag manager tells me don't bother coming in....take the day off.  Great, i got a bad feeling about this one!  What do you all think?? Am i getting fired tomorrow or will they give a 2nd chance?  God, i feel like such a fuckup......someone please shoot me

This would not have happened if you used cocaine instead. You would have been the first one at work this morning......no alarm clock needed....three hours early......

If you really want to keep your job go in and work off the clock.
 
At least he will know you care about your job and thank him at the end of your shift for the opporitunity to work there.
 
I know it is kissing ass but sometimes we all have to do what we need to do.
 
And he might even give you some more respect because of it.

I have my owned my company for seven years just speaking from what I would do. Todays economy a lot of ppl looking for jobs and it is a lot easier to find a job when you have one,

You have mentioned your drinking problem before. What have you done to prevent this kind of shit? Going to AA after 'phoning it in' is NOT the way to fix it.

I guess you'll have plenty of time to drink if you lose your job, right?
