Planning a Super Bowl party - Jets, Steelers, Pakcers & Bears fans needed

Every year I host a Super Bowl party.  People love it because I go all out for this party, it's referred to as "my Christmas Day".  Every year I like to do something different with the food to keep it fresh.  I like to try & cook a dish that represents the teams in the game.  Some teams are hard to do like the Colts.  I'm not serving horse and Indianapolis is known for nothing really.

Obviously, Chicago is known for their Deep Dish Pizza.  But I can't stand Deep Dish Pizza.  IS there anything else Chicago is known for?  Is there something they serve at Soldier Field that is special to that stadium?

New York has so many options, if you're a Jets fan, what stands out to you about New York cuisine?

Only thing I can think of for Green Bay is cheese but that's kind of boring.  Need an idea for Pittsburgh too.

Chicago also has Chicago style hot dogs, steamed or water-simmered, kosher-style dog, on a poppy seed bun (S. Rosens is the best). Top the dog yellow mustard, chopped onions, sweet pickle relish (dyed green), a dill pickle spear, tomato wedges, pickled sport peppers, and some salary salt.

Chicago style Italian beefs, thin slices of seasoned roast beef, dripping with meat juice, on a dense, long Italian style roll. The bread itself is often dipped into the juices the meat is cooked in, and the sandwich is typically topped off with Chicago-style giardiniera and/or sauteed, green sweet peppers.

Pittsburgh doesn't have too much, but you can't go wrong with perogies, halupki and/or halushki and french fires on panini sandwiches.  Get a case or two of Iron City Beer (prnounced "Arn City" around here) too.

As a Jets fan, last Sunday, I dedicated the meal as "Mark Sanchez Mexican Fiesta Day".........I made homemade tacos, refried beans, yellow rice, chips and salsa.......it was delicious.

you could cook brats for the packers
new york style pizza for ny
beef with au jus sauce for chicago 
kielbasa for pittsburgh

thanks jroach, i'm from ny but live in chicago. my neighbor is from pitts and i know some packer fans. plus i cook all the time. invite me to your party and i'll cook!

All you need is  and some chips and peanuts maybe some wings . Real food is to filling and takes room away from the

you HAVE to do italian beef and screw the deep dish pizza.  all my family in chicago order the thin crust

Provide the house, just invite chicks, and tell THEM to bring the food, beer, booze and bikinis.

Now you'll have a party.

If you could pull off both of these items, your guests will love you.  I'm going to Chicago next month and can't wait... I miss Chicago food.

As for NY, I would go with corned beef, pastrami, and cole slaw on rye.  Top it off with russian dressing and you got my all-time favorite sandwich.  Trust me, you won't go wrong with that.

at my deli, i call that sandwich the park ave.!!!  but i serve it on a fresh sub and the meat is off the grill
