We had a stable of race horses in the 80's and 90's, any time our horse was in a good spot to win a race our trainer would say...

here are a couple..... "no guts, no glory" and "the more you bet the more you win". the 1st one has been around a long time the 2nd was from a sick, degenerate gambler friend of mine. he would double up on each bet that he lost now he is sucking c--k just to make ends meet. true story. havent seen him ages but hope he has smartened up
