Question About Coupon Bally's Casino Gave Me...Strange

I got a $400 dollar direct bet coupon today from Bally's. It can be used for any table game.  So i was just reading the fine print at bottom.

If i use it for roulette, I can only bet it on red, on odd, or on the 1 thru 18 box.....LOL, why the hell do I have to do it on that?

Does anyone know the reasoning behind this?  Why shouldn't I be able to throw it on black if I want?  Or on even if I want to?  And if I can throw it on 1 thru 18, why couldn't I do 19 thru 36???

Roulette is completely random...Obviously there is no real advantage to doing one or the other, so why do you guys think they do this? Or is there a reason you know of why they do this?  Thanks

I am going to guess they mean you can't halve your bet, meaning bet $200 on red, $200 on black and basically guarantee your win (almost).

Make sense? If you halve your bet, your intention is to cash out $400 and walk, but if you bet all of it fairly, you're inclined to win, lose, who knows, but potentially become more inclined to wager. At the end of the day they want an engaged bettor, b/c over time they win.

How much money do you drop in your trips there to get a $400 coupon??? They give out $25 and $50 coupons to the average gambler, but not $400.

Free rooms almost every casino. Funny thing is I've only played at Bally's 3 or 4 times. I usually always go to borgata

Frozen tundra, I understand what you're saying. But why couldn't I just do black or odd if I wanted to? They could prevent me from halving. It's just strange

This reminds me of the "Swiss cheese roulette/partial hedge bet"... apparently alot of value there

may have to do with how they track the coupons--half they allow to bet on red or odd, the other half they allow to bet on black or even. 

just like hookers who use different names on the different sites they advertise on, so they can figure out which sites are worth it.

Vegas hates to give the sucker an even break. Have a friend put 4 $100 chips on black and you put coupon on red, try to find single zero wheel. DO NOT convers with friend at table,I pulled this trick with $25 coupon and they refused bet saying we were partnership. One of you walk up to table at last second but don't get shut out.Not sure thing but some places sweat every penny. Personally I would go to craps and Pass/Don't Pass, 12 only loser and you and friend could be on opposite sides table. They busted me because they said friend/me were talking before making bets.

read it again shmendrick?      you can bet the coupon on any even money bet.  u cant halves it tho as was explauined to u.//////   go bet it on the first streak of 3 you see....eg  you see 3 blacks  bet black...nuf said  gd lk

they usually give free buffett for two for every night u stay even if they discount u the rooms.

Are you 7 stars Jimmy? Cause you should be to get a coupon like that..A buddy of mine plays coupons when his 7 star cardholder friend can;t make it down to AC,and they are def not that big,just like Scalabrine said..You need to go to the rewards desk or maybe not as you may have a common name and you are mixed up in the system...and that happens with the Borgata-open new account just changing your name from Joey to Joseph.P will give you a clean slate..and comps from last new play..

I'd say just play your usual game and pop that out at the time you think is right..I'd do BJ as opposed to coming in cold w.Roulette,(and you will not find a single wheel,so you'd have to hedge the 0's for enough,)but would have to have a few bucks to Split or even double for less if the hand called for it.
