Well maybe it's just different in the States than up here. Obviously there are racists everywhere but I really haven't seen it in my relationships. I have met my white girlfriends parents and never had a problem. Had supper at their houses,socialized with them.etc.

Also,, here in America there is a misuse of the hyphenated when describing a persons ethnic origin...using a hyphenation with ”American” should be reserved for immigrants or first-generation Americans....

But as someone that lives in the city of Chicago, I can tell you there is a lot more hate of white people by blacks. 63% of the population is white and 17% black. We have a half black president that was elected twice and at one point Ben Carson was leading the "racist" republican party polls. So that tells you that white people in general do not hate blacks. Race relations were improving until Obama came into office. I never recall it ever being this bad. The garbage being taught in schools today about white guilt and privilege and all the paid protesting going on today is just part of the agenda.

The uneducated among us burned 300 businesses in Baltimore and a burned a senior community center to the ground that was under construction (in their neighborhood), looted several pharmacies of ever drug they could carry over the death of a convicted heroin dealer in police custody. Nearly the entire city is run by AA's & Democrats. How can there be such problems?
