Not sure if anyone has seen this soccer documentary " all or nothing" but its amazing. About Arsenal soccer team in England . you don't have to be a soccer fan but it follows the team, coach and city thru out the season . Its done so well and you fall in love with the players and coach. Arsenal has to finish in the top 4 of the league. Season 1 takes you right to episode 8 and their final game . Not going to write about any results so don't need a spoiler alert.. Its a real Ted Lasso story. Not sure if anyone has seen Ted Lasso but that show is incredible . Lasso is a comedy but " all for nothing " is a documentary. And again its about playing sports and competing...even if you are not a soccer fan in one episode your hooked .. if someone has already posted something about this I'm sorry . Would like to hear other opinions of this series. Not even sure if its on Hulu,Netflex Prime ..

From one (former) Bronx Boy to another (former) Bronx Boy lol...hope all is well.
Yeah, I've been watching for sure, as has my youngest, who first told me about it. He's been a huge Arsenal fan for at least half his life. His older brothers are Liverpool and Chelsea guys lol. Me...always loved Tottenham (just the way it happened). The series is really well done, lots of drama and Arteta is great as a manager but also the way he tries to always connect with his players! I've only watched the first 3 episodes, but you're right about getting hooked right away lol. I just bought Arsene Wenger's autobiography ("My Life in Red and White") for my son and he was very pleasantly surprised.
Wanted to mention I saw your posts in CFB and it's great to hear your game comments/opinions and the descriptions of your road trips. I took your advice on Houston vs UTSA (thank you), but I teased it to PK and +2 in separate teasers. I would have just tailed, but first game of the year and a roadie so...good job!
Have a great season, and keep those posts coming lol.
Cheers !!!

DA Bears...two former bronx boys..lol .. love being retired here in Austin Texas but do miss the Bronx Its hard to explain the Bronx to anyone who has never lived there. Miss more then anything my sabrett hot dog stands .. Have to go to Costco's to get a hot dog. But need a snap back when you bite into one. Make my own egg creams with Fox's U Bet . When I was Principal at Beacon HS on opening day the entire teachers and staff of the 4 elementary schools and middle school would have an opening welcoming and assembly in the HS auditorium . When lunch came everyone would all go back to their schools after lunch. My buddy who owned a deli also owned a hot dog stand with an umbrella . So when we released for lunch that day in front of the school he set up . I paid for my HS staff for 2 dogs soda and chips. The rest of the district and other principals had their staff break for lunch on their own time and meet for the afternoon sessions at their schools. The HS teachers all lined up in front of the HS while everyone else went for lunch on their own It was my 1st year and meeting as the new Principal . That afternoon all the Principals met at the Superintendents office and all the Principals were furious with me. I asked why? They said I showed them off by treating my HS staff to a free lunch right in front of the HS entrance. I guess all the other 300 teachers at all the other schools had to walk by my sabrett hot dog stand with the umbrella When some teachers walked by some of the HS teachers waiting on line said this lunch is only for HS teachers.. " I got a text yesterday with school opening yesterday in NY saying " we miss you Box and when our opening day presentations were over we all walked out of the building and didn't see your buddy with his hot dog stand. We all went different ways for lunch and people were telling Box stories .. I only mention this story because of yesterdays texts from some teachers that reminded me of treating my staff for lunch .And everyone including janitors secretary staff, support staff and bus drivers were treated. The bill was around $150 and it was the best money I ever spent. The next day when school started I had about 20-30 teachers come into my office thanking me for a free lunch. Anyway sorry for the boring story but with school just starting their texts reminded me of opening day . you take care Da bear

Ha Ha...that's a great story...smiling reading it all the way through. Very nice of you to do that and great that you got that text yesterday!!! Funny how some look at that as an "embarrassment" to them (but I get it).
See you along the way this CFB season, I'm sure. You take care, too, Box.
All the best,
