I wouldn't want to be Zimmerman right now. He's got a bullseye on him everywhere he goes. It's a shame that race hatred could bring some very negative consequences to this man. How many blacks were peacefully protesting in different cities that have NO CLUE as to what happened. If Zimmerman was forced to use his gun out of self defense, it's good that he had it and was able to protect himself. You never want to hear about a kid dying, but if he threatened harm to Zimmerman, then Zimmerman did nothing wrong.

The prosecution has just as much influence on who sits on the jury as the defense does. Quit blaming white people in general and blame the prosecution who couldn't make a decent case.

It was a tough case for the prosecution, but that lady didn't help much.

Whether Zimmerman intended to kill Martin or not is irrelevant to a degree IMO. The fact of the matter is, you can't convict someone of murder or manslaughter (as a juror) when the situation is fairly foggy. Zimmerman was clearly assaulted by Martin....Martin was clearly shot by Zimmerman...it just so happens the gunshot wound was fatal. IF I was a juror there would be no chance that I could vote "guilty" unless there was clear cut/no doubt about it evidence that proved Zimmerman meant to kill Martin and that him discharging his firearm was not merited. 

Just my 2 cents.

I'd imagine jurors need to be registered to vote. That skews the percentage of blackies who could serve.

This is completely false and non-responsive.

The Affidavit of Probable Cause used to filed charges states very clearly "he [Martin] was profiled by George Zimmerman"

There is also the little problem of:

FBI records: agents found no evidence that Zimmerman was racist

I'm not saying that was the case with Zimmerman, but some people just don't get it.  

Let's say for argument sake that Zimmerman didn't have a gun....and he got into a altercation with Martin.....and Martin cracked his head open banging it on the cement and killed him.  

Is that a more desirable outcome?  Of course not.

What people need to get through their thick skulls is there is no guarantee something BAD doesn't happen if Zimmerman didn't have a gun. It's the same morons making the assumptions about Zimmerman's guilt.  Assumptions.  Doesn't work here folks.

And raising a glass to George Z. is laughable.  He killed someone and it my not have been justified.  

This also has nothing to do with 2nd amendment rights.  Those are never going away anytime soon.  

I don't know what happened, but I do believe the legal system worked and that counts for something (for me, anyway).  But to celebrate anything about this case is deplorable.

A boy being killed and an adult fighting for his freedom is nothing to celebrate about.  This is all lose lose no matter how you cut it.

Yes, I hope he sues NBC for millions, wins the case and start collecting asp.

Since people are saying George will never get a job, let NBC pay for his support for the rest of his life.

  

NBC will deserve what they get. They pretty much were part of the catalyst that have destroyed George's life by falsely and deceptively putting out the false narrative from the get go to give the impression that George was a racist by a statement he made that NBC purposely edited out parts of the statement in its full context.
